How it works
From IRD letter to cleared debt, step by step
Calm, quick and nothing hidden. We move fast because tax deadlines are real, but the first step is always an honest conversation.
- 1
1. Tell us the shape of it (about 60 seconds)
What you owe IRD, which taxes, any letters or deadlines, whether you're trading, and any property. No credit check when you first enquire.
- 2
2. A real person calls you
Someone who knows IRD's process reads your enquiry and calls, usually the same business day. If there's a statutory demand or court date, tell us and we'll prioritise it.
- 3
3. An honest look at every route
We talk through the deadlines, an IRD instalment arrangement, relief or pooling where they fit, and whether a loan genuinely helps. If it doesn't, we'll say so.
- 4
4. Documents, only if you go ahead
Typically your myIR statement, IRD letters, bank statements, ID and property details. A credit check happens at this stage, not before.
- 5
5. Approval and settlement
Funding is possible in as little as 24 hours for property-secured loans once documents are signed. Funds can go straight to IRD so the debt is cleared on settlement.
- 6
6. Back to normal, with a plan
We agree the exit up front: refinance, sale or repayment from trading. Many clients also set up a separate tax account so it doesn't happen again.
What to have ready
- Your myIR statement of account, by tax type and period
- Any IRD letters, especially a deduction notice, Notice of Intent, statutory demand or liquidation application
- Recent business bank statements
- Property details, if you have any equity
You don't need everything to enquire. Accurate answers on the form matter more: the amount owed, the letters you've had and any property. That's what lets us point you to the right route on the first call.
What we lend
Property-secured business loans from $20,000 to $5,000,000 (first mortgages, second mortgages and caveat-style security over residential or commercial property), and unsecured or cash-flow options for trading businesses, typically $5,000 to $500,000. Bad credit and existing IRD debt are considered case by case. Business purposes only.
If you're under a deadline
Tell us the date on the statutory demand or the hearing date on a liquidation application, and call a lawyer the same day. Read your next 15 working days for a day-by-day plan, and before you call anyone before signing any appointment.
Questions about the process
Does enquiring affect my credit score?
No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. We only discuss a credit check once you've decided to go ahead.
Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?
No. Your enquiry stays with our team. A real person looks at your IRD position and works on it directly.
How quickly will someone call?
Usually the same business day. If you've received a statutory demand or liquidation application, say so in the enquiry and we'll prioritise it.
Can the loan be paid straight to IRD?
Yes. Paying IRD directly at settlement is common, so the debt and the enforcement end together.
What if a loan isn't right for me?
We'll tell you, and explain what we'd look at instead, such as an IRD instalment arrangement, a conversation with your accountant or, if the business can't continue, a licensed insolvency practitioner.
Do you publish interest rates?
No. Every loan is priced on the business's circumstances. We give you the total cost in dollars so you can compare it with what IRD would add.
Clear the IRD debt. Keep the business.
Tell us what you owe and what you own in about 60 seconds. There's no credit check when you first enquire, and a real person calls you back before anything else happens.
